Marin County, right across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, is the perfect mix of outdoor fun and cool culture. If you're into hiking, you can't miss the epic trails in Muir Woods or the stunning views from Mount Tamalpais. Over in Mill Valley, you'll find a laid-back vibe with plenty to do. The Mill Valley Film Festival is a big hit every fall, showcasing awesome indie films. Whether you're out exploring nature or just chilling in town, Marin County and Mill Valley have something for everyone.

Philadelphia is my hometown and, what I think, is the most underrated city in the US. The food scene is to die for, the museums are world class, and there are so many amazing things to do that don’t fit either of those categories. I hope my guide of my home town hangs will help you find some new and underrated experiences
Looking for things to do in Downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota? All of these areas are within walking distance of eachother and host a wide variety of options! From running and biking trails along the mississippi to museums, bars, and entertainment. It's a great little city sleeper city.
These are the products I'm going to pack pretty much every time I travel. Some are better suited for air travel, some better for road trips and I can vouch for all of them.
As a 10 year flight attendant I know what is comforting on a long flight. Especially on red eyes. Those international flights I work and fly on to see family really have given me great experience.
Deciding where to stay in Las Vegas can be overwhelming as there are so many options but I am here to help! These are my favorite hotels to stay at (in no particular order) in Las Vegas to help you on your trip to Sin City.
We take several vacations per year and have found some items to be essential for land or cruise vacations. Additional tip- If you are traveling with a passport, make sure you make additional copies of your passport and email them to yourself and keep some copies with you. You don't want to lose your passport on a trip or have it stolen. Before a trip., I start packing small things and then as it get's closer I write down the items that are missing from that luggage on a sticky note and put it on the luggage. As I add that item, I cross of the item on the sticky note. It helps prevent missing items, but it still can happen, especially when kids do their own. When it comes time to leave and go home, we put all the dirty luggage into 1-2 pieces of luggage and then I can easily throw it all into the washer when we get home.
Planning a trip to Europe? I got you. This guide covers everything I wish I knew before my trip. This list combines value + aesthetics + real-life travel essential.
Ogden, Utah is known for its rich railroad history, vibrant outdoor lifestyle, and stunning mountain backdrop. Nestled at the base of the Wasatch Range, it offers quick access to world-class skiing, hiking, and mountain biking, while its historic 25th Street is lined with unique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. For visitors, the area blends adventure with culture, making it a great destination for both outdoor enthusiasts and those who enjoy charming, historic downtowns.
Gorgeous places that won't break the bank (or perhaps, cost you little or nothing at all)! 😉 I've explored all these places – and some, if not all, are worth revisiting.Note: This list may contain affiliate links, which means that I may receive a commission (at no extra charge to you) if you make a purchase using these links.
With the loss of DEI, tech jobs, and the general economic recession, many Americans are unable to afford the rising costs of food and housing and having to seek alternative living situations… like their car. Though the van life aesthetic can be aspirational for some and many have transformed their vehicles into mobile tiny homes, car camping out of necessity is an entirely different thing. Here are some resources if, like me, you're transitioning into car living to save money and stay off the streets.
We visited Holland, Michigan in 2024 right before their tulip festival. The town is known for its Dutch heritage and tons of tulips in the spring. We had a great time and highly recommend this town for a fun family vacation or an adult get away.

I visited Portugal in May, and it's a charming place. I'd recommend going in April, May, September, or October for milder weather and fewer crowds. Portugal is budget-friendly; we used Uber everywhere in Porto and Lisbon, which was cheaper than taking taxis. Some taxis only take cash, so be sure to check with the driver before getting in. We took the comfortable train ride from Porto to Lisbon and scored discounts by buying tickets in advance. Inform your bank about your travel plans; I did not do it and could only withdraw cash in Lisbon but not Porto. Many attractions are crowded, so consider tour options to skip the lines if time is important for you. Bring comfortable shoes!! Lots of walking on cobblestone streets and Lisbon is hilly.
This list captures the essence of Hallstatt, Austria, through its charming hotels and bustling markets. Each recommendation focuses on providing a unique cultural experience, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the historic and vibrant atmosphere of this lovely town.
