Handmade watercolor usually comes with mix hue rather than one solid hue, so it's understandable if lots of them are less pigmented and have more fillers. It's made from sometimes different kind of pigment with different watercolor benders, so the quality could be hit or miss since it's a home-based production. Also, the prize could range from affordable to high end if the maker use high quality pigment. But I can assure you, they had great color scheme/theme, that you don't have to mix any primer color to make it. P.S: Some of these collections probably not handmade, but didn't have a brand name, so I keep them included.

You don't need 100 different brushes you need a good flat square brush flat round brush (in different sizes) angle brushes fine detail brush. Thats all I use for anything I paint. Rarely but sometimes use a fan brush. I use pallet knife to paint with oils alot also.
