We brought Sarah on board to help us plan and coordinate our reception, and honestly, without her and her team, our special day wouldn’t have been nearly as smooth as it was. Plus, they did an amazing job bringing our vision board to life with all the decor they brought to the venue.

We hired Sarah for day of coordination for our tea ceremony, western ceremony, and reception, and the MWS team did not disappoint! We had easy communication leading up to the big day, and on the day of, the team made everything seamless. Once I passed off all decor, things magically appeared in the right place exactly where and when I needed them. They kept us on pace with our timeline, which there was no way we could have managed as the bride and groom. The moms and aunties couldn't stop raving about what a good job they did. Especially since we were able to start dinner on time and not 2 hours late (which can be common in Chinese receptions...).

We can’t recommend Sarah enough! She was so open to our ideas, even the wild ones, and worked tirelessly to bring them to life. When we had to switch florists last minute, she handled it with ease and made sure everything stayed on track. Her team was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process, and they were always there when we needed them. On the big day, she took charge and managed some tricky situations with guests while keeping the atmosphere positive. The attention to detail was phenomenal, and she truly cared about the aesthetics of our wedding. If you want a wedding planner who listens, communicates well, and really makes your day special, Sarah is the one!

From MWS' blogs and interview, we could tell they fully understand how to create unique multicultural weddings. One important tip for newly engaged couples - wedding planners don't create the designs of your wedding!! It's the florists' job. So finding a good planner is important because then they'll help you find good vendors, communicate your vision, and make sure everything is executed perfectly on the actual day. We had a BLAST on our wedding day. We knew Sarah's team got our backs, so we weren't stressed at all. I cannot stress enough the importance of the planner's role in your wedding!! They're the project manager. Their leadership and execution will affect your entire wedding and how well your vendors set up everything. The day of the wedding - our hotel venue Pasea hotel promised us that we'd be the only wedding booked on our wedding day. This was promised before we signed with them. On the day of, we realized they double booked another couple's reception without telling us. I actually bumped into the other bride and was very surprised about the whole thing. Sarah talked to the other wedding planner and made sure their music was lowered during our ceremony. everything went smoothly for both parties. 10/10 execution. Another green flag about MWS is that they helped us minimized our budgets. Sarah was real with us lmao. Whenever our ideas went too crazy, she'll hone us back and help find alternatives. Her network of vendors are all affordable and very creative, so that saved us a lot of work. Attitude 10/10. Our guests loved Sarah. She's bubbly but also will get sh*t done. I've been to weddings where stressed out planners would give off weird vibes to the wedding parties, but not this girl. She made everyone felt at ease while rushing people to stick to our schedules of the day. Just wanna say thank you Sarah again for making our most important day magical. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sarah Wang and her team from My Wedding Songbird (MWS) for our belated marriage celebration. From start to finish, Sarah's expertise, dedication, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the planning process. We had three events planned over the course of three days, all at different venues, so it was a LOT of coordination with many, many vendors. Sarah and her team absolutely crushed it at each event and made sure that all of our vendors were set up for success before and during each event. We were under no illusion that opting for full planning service meant zero work for us, because we certainly still had a lot to do and coordinate on our end due to the nature of our events. But one thing's for sure - we never could have pulled off what we did without Sarah and her team. I cannot even begin to list all the ways in which Sarah saved us time, money, headache, labor, and stress. Each of our events were better than we could have imagined, and all the vendors that she recommended were fantastic. In addition, it was very apparent that vendors loved working with her, which made our lives so much easier. We opted for the full planning service, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Sarah helped us secure the perfect venues, coordinating with and visiting our venues with us or on her own when we couldn't go. She had an incredibly detailed and helpful workbook that she would guide us through in each of our monthly planning meetings, and she provided exceptional vendor recommendations. Her communication and coordination with us and with vendors were impeccable, and she ensured that everything ran smoothly and according to plan. On the day of our main reception, Sarah truly shone as our bilingual English-Chinese emcee, and her two other staff members, Kim and Chanel, did a wonderful job as day-of coordinators. Sarah's, Kim's, and Chanel's professionalism and warm demeanors made everyone feel at ease, and their ability to seamlessly manage the day's events was remarkable. Sarah's bilingual skills were an enormous asset, allowing all our guests to feel included and engaged. They also took care of all the logistics of vendor unloading/loading, communication, etc., and really made sure that we didn't have to worry about event logistics on the day of. Truly a gift to be able to fully focus our time and attention on our guests throughout the weekend. Sarah and her team at MWS went above and beyond to make our celebration weekend perfect. Her creativity, organization, and unwavering support turned our vision into reality, and we are forever grateful for her hard work.
