Every surface in my apartment looked bare and cold until I started collecting mismatched brass candlesticks. Now my mantel looks like it belongs in a 1920s library and guests always comment on it.

Had a phase where I bought cheap glass vases from big box stores and they all looked the same. One vintage ceramic vase on a shelf did more for my living room than three trips to HomeGoods combined.

Bare walls were my biggest problem for the longest time. One vintage mirror with a patinated frame did what six prints from Society6 couldn't — it made the room feel finished and twice as big.

Bought a gray couch two years ago and it sat there looking lifeless until I threw a faded Turkish kilim pillow on it. Suddenly the whole living room had a pulse.

Overhead lighting was making every room feel like an office. Swapping in a couple of vintage lamps completely changed the mood — softer, warmer, like an actual home instead of a workspace.

Spent way too long staring at blank walls before realizing original vintage art costs less than most framed prints from trendy online shops. One oil painting from the 60s changed my whole living room energy.

Clutter was killing the vibe in every room until I started corralling things into vintage boxes and trays. Now my coffee table looks intentional instead of like a junk drawer exploded on it.

My bookshelves looked like a college dorm situation — books falling over, random gaps, zero style. A couple of solid vintage bookends and a few shelf objects turned them into something I actually want people to see.
