items Autumn here is less a season than a negotiation. The heating stays off, so everything else has to work harder. A throw that plugs in, a mug with a pumpkin on it, real silk for sleeping. Some of it sensible, most of it just nice.
One of the few properly English drinks, and nobody has ever given it a decent glass. Hand-blown, stemmed and labelled, so there is no argument about what you are holding.
